IPOD Touch 4th Generation Camera

I have nothing better much to do, I have taken no photo with Ipod. Since I have jailbreak iOS 5.1, it has been operating slow on some apps but I still enjoy the customizable power of jailbroken device.

Anyway - IPOD Touch 4th Generation Camera - my hand shake like hell or camera itself is blurry. see below. I wouldn't pay much for phone or gadget because of better camera since I do not use often. :) I mean if the gadget cost extra because of enchance camera on it, I will pass.

However, I believe you still can make good photo with help of plenty camera apps from apple store with latest Iphone5 8MP iSight camera.

It just the thoughts and this post is to test blogger apps on iPod touch.

Cheap & Fun Travel on Holiday From Singapore (ASEAN)

Well.. where I would choose to go? Of course far away from Singapore. The Farther, the better, lesser stress, much more fun at least for me. But our holiday are not that long enough to go very far and budget is limited. In this case, I filter out my trip within ASEAN countries such as Indonesia, Vietnam, Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia and so on. NO Malaysia (is too near).

First, I can decide where I want to go or to where the best deal is on. Let say I wanted to go Bagan(Myanmar) where historical place with thousands of pagodas, however, that gonna cost about a thousand while there is no promotion on this tour package. I would love to choose Phuket(Thailand) 3D2N at 5stars hotel include 2way flights with Silk Air for S$299 instead of $588 usual. So in my case, I will just look for the best deal and let it take me to somewhere away from Singapore on my holiday instead having headache about where to go such as City Tour or Beach Resort or Historical Places.

Second thing in my mind is transportation, whether I want to spend on the road with friends then I would choose bus or coach. Flying to the destination is saved me much more time, and choosing ferry or cruise is depend on where I want to go. Like going to Penang(Malaysia), either I choose coach and enjoy road trip or I can fly there in no time without spending 10 hours on the bus then I could use those extra hour to go Langkawi or even to the Krabi(Thailand).

Here are some places you can always find cheap tour package at range of S$30-S$300 at almost all season. I just need to look out for it at www.deal.com.sg or ask the agents which one offer most discount, which one has promotion and compare prices, days of trip, accommodation, activities and most importantly where I want to go. As for me, anywhere other than Singapore is FULL OF FUN!!!

Angkor Wat ( Cambodia )

Bali-( Indonesia )

Phuket ( Thailand )

Bintan ( Indonesia )

Penang ( Malaysia )

Batam ( Indonesia )

Hanoi ( Veitnam )

Hanoi - Night

Bangkok ( Thailand )

These are just bargain package of easy to find tour package less than S$300 almost all season, however, there are many other places that I want to go in Asia. I will make another post " Places to go in Asia " with details of the place, activities there and also measure the meter of enjoyment.

Thing we do before going anywhere
Pick up the camera and go. No.

  • Check online price and other agents of the promotion (S$ may vary depending on hotel, flight or coach type)
  • Research about the place we are going (Activities, Must-Go places and most importantly good place to eat)
And all other things like exchange money so that I would not have worry for it,but not much, only the amount I might need, visa-master will help along. I like to pack things waterproof as possible as I can. I prefer not to bring valueable item which also including electronic gadget such as like I-family(Ipod-Ipad-Iphone-Iair-Ibahblah). Buy waterproof bag for the camera and use the cheap waterproof phone in case you may need phone.

HardRock Hotel - Penang (Malaysia)

It's not too late to update my facebook and post the photo on my blog when I come back since I aint going around the world for whole year.

PS

Have you done that?

This is traditional ?

Touch Technology - IPS or Capacitive or Resistive on Tablet PC

Have read this article from online and share.

If you're planning to take the plunge and purchase a tablet PC, you'll should be aware that there are mainly two types of technology used in touchscreen tablet PCs - resistive and capacitive.Actually ips touch screen also belongs to capacitive, cause it used in many tablets as well,so we have a introduction about it here as well.

What is a resistive touchscreen?
Resistive touchscreens work on the basis of pressure applied to the screen. A resistive screen consists of a number of layers. When the screen is pressed, the outer later is pushed onto the next layer - the technology senses that pressure is being applied and registers input. Resistive touchscreens are versatile as they can be operated with a finger, a fingernail, a stylus or any other object.
Resistive touchscreen can be usually touched with one finger only, some ones would also support 2 fingers(2-point touch).

What is a capacitive touchscreen?
Capacitive touchscreens work by sensing the conductive properties of an object, usually the skin on your fingertip. A capacitive screen on a tablet PC usually has a glass face and doesn't rely on pressure. This makes it more responsive than a resistive screen when it comes to gestures such as swiping and pinching. Capacitive touchscreens can only be touched with a finger, and will not respond to touches with a regular stylus, gloves or most other objects.
Capacitive touchscreen can be usually touched around 5 fingers(5-point-touch) at the same time, some even supports 10-point-touch.That means we can pinch the pictures or web pages to make it zoom in and out.

Though resistive touchscreens are often quite responsive - especially in many new tablet PC hitting the market - capacitive touchscreens usually provide a more pleasant user experience. Actions like swiping through contact lists, zooming in and out of Web pages and maps, typing e-mails and text messages and scrolling through photos are best suited to capacitive touchscreens;unlike resistive screens, you can swipe across them gently and still get a response. Resistive screens are often found in cheaper devices, as they cost significantly less to manufacture.

However,it is the way we  use the tablet decide which one we choose. If you are more familiar to use fingernail or object to operate, then you can try resistive one.If you are more familiar with gentle touch or the experience in iPhone etc, then you need a capacitive one.

What is IPS techonolgy?
IPS panel matrices differ from TN film panels not only in the structure of the crystals but also in the placement of the electrodes; both electrodes are on one wafer and take more space than electrodes of TN matrices. This leads to a lower contrast and brightness of the matrix.IPS panels employ pairs of electrodes at the sides of each cell, running the electric field horizontally through the material. This approach keeps the liquid crystals parallel to the front of the panel, increasing viewing angle. The disadvantages of this technology are that response times suffer and production of the panel can be very expensive.Super-IPS was later introduced with improved response times and color reproduction.

Advantages of IPS touchscreen?

  • IPS touchscreen have quick response times and homogeneous response time in any gray of liquid crystal and the optimal structure to proceed a large number of high speed signals without data loss by using copper wiring with low resistance values. So IPS touchscreens offer a vivid and clear picture, stable response time of liquid crystal, and its smart driving technology.
  • IPS touchscreen display consistent and accurate color from all viewing angles. Other panels may only display partial true color. The discrepancy is normally more than 2 times in terms of color shift. IPS panels are twenty times better[citation needed] than normal[clarification needed] panels in comparative changes in gamma shift.
  • IPS panels do not lighten and show tailing when touched, making them ideal for touchscreens.
